Michael Hasty is a proud husband, father, man of faith, and long time Springfield resident. An Army veteran, Realtor®, and active substitute teacher, Michael is deeply invested in the community he calls home.
With an MBA in Finance and Supply Chain Management, he understands what it takes to manage a budget responsibly and ensure Missouri’s dollars work for its people.
Michael is committed to strengthening education, giving students the tools to succeed after graduation. Rooted in service, Michael stands shoulder-to-shoulder with those who protect and serve—our veterans, law enforcement, first responders, and educators. His mission is to defend our freedoms, promote fiscal responsibility, and be a strong voice for the working-class families who are the backbone of Missouri.

As someone who grew up in the foster system, I know firsthand how much it matters for a child to find stability, love, and a place to call home. I’m committed to cutting through the bureaucracy in Missouri’s adoption process so the more than 1,500 children waiting today can find the safe, permanent families they deserve.
